Amalfi Coast
This piece of rocky coastline on the south side of the Bay of Naples has attracted the great and the good since Roman Times to sample its stunning views, rocky coves and lush vegetation. It is still one of the most famous and desirable coastlines in the world and offers a truly unique wedding experience.
The most picturesque area is that around Ravello, Amalfi and Positano whilst Sorrento is larger and has more infrastructure. If you are not afraid of being on show then the island of Capri takes a lot of beating as a location for small weddings.
The rich volcanic soils provide a lush enviroment for the abundant growing of local fruit and vegetables which can be enjoyed with local seafood specialities for your wedding dinner and expect lots of courses.
The main areas are only an hour from Naples airport and so very accessible from the UK with flights taking around two hours.
