Kendra & Brian

The brief was going to be a challenge. Brian and I had got engaged on New Year’s Eve and were keen for a summer wedding, preferably in June.

That left 5 months to organise a wedding for 120 guests, a high percentage of whom were flying in from all over the world. I had expected the Love & Lord team to look at me in astonishment and laugh at my naivity. However, to my delight, from the very first meeting they were enthusiastic, proactive and highly professional. It became very obvious that they had a great wealth of experience in organising weddings. We were gently guided through the whole process, advised of the common pitfalls and helped to prioritise the seemingly huge number of tasks.

Planning the wedding became an event in itself, the highlight being our trip to Tuscany to choose a venue. We looked at 4 stunning, unique venues before choosing, after much discussion, Il Borro. We wanted a wedding with ‘wow’, one that would make a huge impression on our guests and would make our wedding distinctive. Love & Lord delivered!

The venue was to be exclusive to us and included our own 11th century medieval village.

The wedding itself, a 3 day event, exceeded our expectations. Their attention to detail, thoughtfulness and careful planning made for a perfect day. Nothing was too much trouble, even a last minute request for konga drums and supplying oranges for the rugby match! We were able to relax and really enjoy our wedding, confident that the organisation was taken care of. The setting, the delicious food and wine helped to create a truely memorable event.

Brian and I and our guests were delighted.

We’ve recently been able to view our wedding photos and they are just superb. It was a real treat to come back from honeymoon, look at the photos and remember all the wonderful things that happened over the weekend. Thanks to Love & Lord for all their help and hard work. They helped us to create a joyous occasion.
