vignamaggio

The Venue

Vignamaggio is a large historic villa dating back to the 14th century and was the birthplace of Mona Lisa in 1479. It is one of the oldest wine-producing estates in Chianti Classico with breathtaking views over woods, vineyards and olive groves. It is near the village of Greve, in the Chianti hills, approximately 80 minutes from Pisa and 45 minutes from Florence.

Words cannot justify just how spectacular this place is.  With its perfectly manicured topiary gardens, glorious panoramas and romantic rose coloured villa, the Vignamaggio estate is a simply outstanding venue that we are sure you are going to enjoy staying in and sharing the delights of over the course of our three day celebration.  With so much to do in and around Tuscany, there will never be a dull moment should you choose to be active.  However, the luxury and beauty of Vignamaggio make it a tempting prospect to do nothing but stay on the estate for the duration of the stay!  With it being winter, it provides the perfect excuse (not that we need one!) to warm our cockles with lots of on site wine tasting.  Aside from this, there are a host of other activities; explore their website to find out what you can expect!   www.vignamaggio.com
